Lumbar Disc Prolapse (also called slipped disc) is a condition where a disc in the lower spine (lumbar region) bulges or ruptures and presses on nearby nerves.
Common Causes

  • Age-related wear and tear (degeneration)

  • Sudden lifting or twisting injury

  • Poor posture / prolonged sitting

  • Obesity or lack of core strength

  • Severe weakness in legs

  • Loss of bladder or bowel control
